Ship Ahoy Restaurant

We were on our way back from point pelee and I happened to notice their sign said they had perch so I went in to see how long it might take if it was available and the customer service was excellent! Upon walking in, the gentleman that I assume owns the place; was just tidying up and immediatly greeted me with friendliness and a smile he informed me that it would take less than 10 minutes to cook up a whole perch dinner so of course how could I turn that down right?! The meal was absolutely awesome. The perch was cooked and seasoned perfectly & he even had a house sauce on the side that went along great with it! I also really enjoyed the fresh cut fries on the side. As you can see, everything was devoured lol amazing food, service & atmosphere thanks again! Will definitely be back soon

We got a friendly, happy welcome when we walked into this little eatery. The fish and chips were hot and delicious. And there was a nice choice of ice creams for desserts. The owner was busy with many orders when we went in, but he did a great job for every customer.

Got the fish and chips and legit some of the best fish I’ve ever had. The batter is so crispy and light! The fries were also amazing, normally not a huge fan of fresh cut fries but these fries were so crispy! The owner was also super nice!!

Went here earlier today after our trip to Point Pelee National Park.. Its location is perfect as it's right outside the park..Lovely atmosphere and their decorations were pretty cool.. Our kids loved it.. They have a nice indoor and outdoor seating.. Service was top notch! Very friendly and polite..Food was great.. We ordered poutine, fish and chips and perch tacos.. The poutine was great but could use a bit more gravy. The perch could be better but everything else in the tacos were really fresh and yummy! The fish and chips was amazing! Their tartar sauce was delicious!We topped it off with their ice cream and they were also delicious!

This lovely restaurant in Point Pelee has left the best impressions!Father and daughter are very hospitable hosts. I ordered fish and chips, it was delicious. They also have ice creams with a good variety of flavours.Great atmosphere with really nice people.

This place feels like home! The food this sweet and funny family makes is seriously incredible!!! I had the birria tacos which you can get on some fridays which were fantastic!!!! And my husband had the perch with lots of fries!! All in all great place cant wait to go back! :)

My wife and I had a very good perch and fries dinner at Ship Ahoy. The service was great. It doesn't have the double decker bus Birdies had, but who does. It has dine in and dine out plus take out.
